Cartoons bring laughter, joy, action, and adventure delivered through a colorful package of animated characters and wrapped in memorable music. Many famous Warner Brothers Looney Tunes dating back to the 1930s brought their characters to life to the tune of classical music, like Brahm’s “Hungarian Dances” in PIGS IN A POLKA (1943), Bugs Bunny’s memorable performance of Rossini’s “Barber of Seville Overture” in THE RABBIT OF SEVILLE (1946) and Elmer Fudd’s astonishing performance of Wagner’s “Flight of the Valkeries” in KILL the WABBIT (1957). Maestro Joseph Place and the POPS Symphony will perform a fun program of ‘toon tunes that will make you smile…join Porky Pig and Bugs at “Corny-Gie Hall” for a “Corny Concerto”……That’s all Folks!
