In a seaside town where business and the mafia flourish, The Golden Age cabaret is the favorite nightly haunt of dancers, bandits and young revelers. There Boris, a young fisherman, falls in love with a beautiful dancer named Rita … who is also the friend of a local gangster.
Colorful, original and dazzling, The Golden Age is a satire of Europe during the Roaring 20’s, with a jazzy score, a music hall atmosphere, and dance as only the Bolshoi can perform it.
